Story of Molinari
In 1945, Angelo Molinari, an expert perfumer and connoisseur of the secrets of blending, began his blending experiments with a mission to create a high-quality liqueur. Some time later, he came up with a secret recipe for his Sambuca Extra. This recipe of this anise-flavoured liqueur has been handed down from generation to generation from the post-war period to the present day.
The Sambuca Extra was a success from the very beginning and very soon it was served in many bars across the globe.
After 1975, following the death of Angelo Molinari, his sons took up his legacy by continuing to promote the Sambuca Molinari brand in Italy and worldwide.
In the early 2000s, Molinari Caffè Liqueur was launched. This is an original recipe taken up and revisited by the company's new management. The result is a seductive coffee-flavoured liqueur made with Arabica coffee beans. Tastes amazing on its own, as well as in Espresso Martini or poured over ice cream.

The Angelo Molinari Foundation
The Angelo Molinari foundation is a non-profit organization with the aim of promoting, organizing and sponsoring scientific initiatives. It was founded in 2006, by Mafalda, Angelo's daughter.
